The project
In this month's sizzle for Marvel SNAP, Sparky leads the way in a retro 16-bit video game-style animation! This heartfelt sizzle follows our cyber-pup friend while he visits Bastion’s lab, Warlock’s workshop, and Jocasta before finally finding Viv Vision. The nostalgia hits hard with this one.
The approach
As part of the process, we first designed the characters and then tested pixelization effects on select animation shots, that way, we could emulate the look of a 16-bit video game render.
