The project

Maurice Blackburn is Australia's leading compensation and social justice law firm. Before he started his firm, he was a politician in Australia though, and fought for workers’ rights while fighting fascism at the same time. Bad ass. For this, he was referred to by the Australian Prime Minister John Curtin as "one of the great servants of the people of the Commonwealth of Australia". Curated Content created a mini-documentary series about him, and we supported them by creating animated segments for episode 4 and 5. We used a painterly approach to give his story a cinematic look and texture, and further told his visual story by thoughtfully using animated transitions.
