The Project

Syncron set out to inspire a new generation of athletes and high performers by aligning its performance-focused philosophy with an icon of commitment and excellence. The goal was to push beyond conventional sports marketing — to build a campaign that felt emotionally powerful, visually bold, and culturally relevant, capturing the determination that defines those who strive to be their best.

We brought this vision to life through a collection of anime-inspired spots. Most of the spots reimagine Shohei Ohtani as an anime protagonist — an embodiment of discipline, power, and precision. On this page, you’ll find two (one above, one below) of the longer pieces, and a selection of 6-second vignettes from the campaign are showcased separately.

The approach

The spots we created for Syncron merge Japanese anime aesthetics with the rhythm and energy of professional sport, and visualize Ohtani’s dual role as both an exceptional pitcher and hitter. Common Good provided us with scripts, and the concept evolved into a collection of vibrant, fast-paced animations designed to capture the thrill of performance. Our approach centered on lushly rendered environments and characters that balanced lifelike athleticism with the bold, exaggerated style of Japanese anime.
