The project
We were thrilled to create this motion comic for Marvel Strike Force, a game by Scopely. It introduces the next chapter of Age of Fear alongside the launch of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day event. Our team brought the story to life by creating digitally hand-painted paintings, and animating them through motion design, character animation and 2dFX.
The story
We follow Spider-Man as he descends beneath Manhattan in a desperate race to prevent an ancient, fear-corrupted hammer from choosing its next champion. When Scorpion claims the weapon and transforms into the fearsome Breaker Scorpion, Spider-Man is pushed to his limits until the arrival of the Mighty Blade changes the tide. Packed with action, iconic Marvel characters, and a few hidden surprises for longtime fans, the piece sets the stage for the escalating conflict at the heart of Age of Fear.
