Avengers vs X-Men
March's Marvel Snap's sizzle featured the fight between the Avengers and X-Men about the fate of the Phoenix Force. Through a combination of animated slow-motion battle shots, you'll find a very recognizable cast of characters fighting each other, supported by a beautiful custom rendition of Ave Maria. We love producing all our Marvel Snap sizzles, but due to the number of characters we all know and love, this one in particular was special. Can you recognize all of them?
Black Order
This time, we bring you a special combo from Marvel Snap. Starting with February's Black Order season sizzle. In this storyline, Thanos' adopted children leave a path of death and decay in supporting him in his shenanigans, and it features Black Swan, Super Giant, Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight.
The approach
For both of these sizzles, we mixed cell animation with motion-comic style animated artwork and effects. As always, we started with a storyboard, moving on to rough animation and finally cleaning up and coloring. You can see some of the progress and final images below.
